Folkuniversitetet offers daytime and evening courses as well as lectures in areas such as languages, economics, communication, writing, and aesthetic subjects. Our courses are primarily aimed at individuals but also at associations and companies. For the autumn of 2025, we are now looking for one or more course leaders in economics, administration, and AI in Karlstad.

About the assignment
We are looking for one or more course leaders in economics, administration, and AI. Our courses are mainly conducted in the evening, but there are also opportunities for courses during the day and on weekends in our premises located in Karlstad. Various types of courses are of interest, e.g., everyday economics, fund and stock knowledge, Excel, Office, and also different areas within AI. Please feel free to bring your own suggestions and ideas!

You will plan and conduct your courses independently and follow up and register attendance.

Your competence and background
You have a strong interest and expertise in your subject area and enjoy teaching others. Previous experience in teaching adults is an advantage. Since the instruction is conducted in Swedish, you should be able to express yourself well in Swedish.
As a course leader at Folkuniversitetet, you are expected to have the ability to tailor the teaching to individuals and bring out each individual's potential. It is important that you find joy in imparting knowledge and see the positive in participants' development. You are flexible, attentive, and structured, and have experience working independently. We also expect that you share our view on the equal value of all individuals and their right to knowledge.

Employment form
The employment is a project-based position (employment per course) with compensation per study hour. Planning is done in close collaboration with the responsible staff at Folkuniversitetet.
